N47 Oil Filter Housing.

Is there any problem with the oil filter housing on the N47 engine?

I ask this because I have noticed several of them for sale second-hand. (Ebay etc.), Also when I did my last oil change (myself) the cap felt very "notchy" as I screwed it on.

The fact that there are loads for sale suggests supply, but not demand. Certainly not an issue I'm aware of.

They leak from the gaskets/o rings. I bought a used one for a customer as he had a workshop and milled the used one flat for a perfect repair.
