2017 G30 540i TV problems

I have recently bought a 2017 540i X drive which is very well equipped including night vision and TV. When I bought the car at a garage a fair distance away from where I live the TV worked fine. When I got home I just got a no signal message. I took it to my local dealer and they did a full reprogram of the car and now it seems to work fine here in Germany. However I work across the border in another country and there I just get the same error message no signal. So I am assuming when I can eventually travel back to the UK it probably won't work there either. Has anyone else had a similar issue and better still no how to fix it. The dealer is being a bit vague about this. Any help much appreciated!

Can’t help straight off, but what market was the vehicle manufactured for ?

I was just hoping to be able to sit and watch the TV while I am stuck with the inevitable delays at Dover

Thanks for the info! The dealer recently did a full reprogram and it works in Germany fine. So I guess I have the latest firmware etc I would just like it to work everywhere
