B58 Engine oil - Which one?
Discussion
I've stupidly, possibly wisely decided against the long oil service intervals on our 440i.
I was going to go all in on getting a jack, axle stands the works but a perrolhead mate has offered up doing it at his place and use his equipment.
So I just need to get the oil but just wondered if any PH'ers have a preference? So I know its 0W-20 but not sure what the best stuff to use is. Back in the day I just used Mobil 1 fully synthetic but now.... There are several wearing that label?
Any help greatly appreciated!

I put 0w30 in mine. 0w20 is a bit on the thin side for my liking. 0w20 is only really used to eek out the MPG figures a bit further.
Last time mine was serviced, BMW filled it with 0w30 LL04 spec oil. I believe it was BMW branded Shell Helix Ultra (BMW Twin Power Turbo 0w30).
Any LL04 spec 0w30 oil will be fine.
