As above really.. Finally had the Eibach suspension springs fitted (along with new L/R BMW ball joint/lower arms) fitted to my E63 630i. Driving home from the BM Specialist garage the car drove fine, no steering issues other than the tracking which will need adjusting..steering wheel is slightly out of kilter in a straight line..but, the arch gap still looks the same as before? The springs are F.25mm R.20mm lower.

Will this take time to settle? I’m assuming it’s all the other components that need to adjust to the shorter springs, as opposed to the springs themselves ‘settling’ confused

They do take time to settle; but the drop should be noticeable from fitting

Have they fitted the shocks through the knuckles properly, as in put them all the way back down to where they should be? It's an easy mistake to make etc...

They were a BMW specialist so I assume/hope so.. Reading online more about this last night, it seems the suspension and components can take a while to settle.. It just doesn’t look any different right now?
I think I’ll give it a while, drive it.. see if any changes, if not I’ll call the garage for their thoughts.

Appreciate the reply thumbup

It isn't going to change height, it is what it is. Are you sure that the new springs are actually different to the ones that were already fitted? Did you supply the springs or did the garage source them?

I supplied the springs, and I was given the original BMW springs back.. I have fitted my 20” Veemann VC7 alloys today & taken it for a drive.. The suspension is looking lower at the front, and the rear has definitely dropped compared to how it was when I collected the car. I’m happy with that. I’ll post some pics in the ‘What did you do to your BMW’ thread. smile

You would have noticed more of a drop on the standard wheels. Eibachs are progressively wound so will take afew hundred miles to drop down.
