quick E93 N54 Wi-Fi flash adapter question

It's been a good while since I visited piston ends I think I must have been one of the earliest contributors back when it was pretty much a TVR forum, the Griff 500 is now long gone and I bought a E93 335i N54. And so far it seems a really nice car but lacks the power and aggression I was expecting from a 300 plus hp, of course it is no lightweight and I think this goes some way to dulling the performance. Now I not trying to create a monster here I just want to give it a little more, it seems the easiest way is to flash a stage one map and the tool for this seems to be MHD, but I'm having trouble finding the MHD orange wi-fi adapter everywhere seems to be on backorder. I seems the Thor wi-fi adapter is compatible with MHD and will allow flashing the maps but I can't find any info on whether it supports the full range of MHD options ie fault code reading/erasing and the monitor system which allows data logging and lots of useful info to be displayed on your phone. Basically what I need to know is will the Thor adapter do exactly the same job as the orange MHD version or should I keep trying to find the genuine item?
