Circa 2015 2.0D BMW engine (184bhp)- issues?

Timing chain tensioner is the main thing, but there was an errata for it in Feb 2011 that sorted out a lot of the issues (I speak as someone who has just put 140K on one built in April 2011!).For a 2015 car, check the date on the battery. It's an AGM one and while the part is only £250-£300, coding it to the car will also cost you (and it NEEDS to be coded in order to have a normal service life).
People will be along shortly to talk about swirl flap deletion and EGR unblocking.

2015 would be an F30-era 320d. (edited to add: you may be looking at another car - if so, I apologise, but this is the common application for that motor)In 2015 they changed over from N47D20 to B47D20.
You mentioned in your op 184bhp so that's the older N47D20 motor -- the newer one is 188bhp.

Crankshaft has never been listed as a problem, as far as I know, and I've owned mine since new, 10 years ago.Timing chain tensioner fixes came in dribs and drabs through the life of this motor. I think you'll be fine. 140K miles of experience!

If you're interested, take a look at https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=PP52... -- this is the top chain part of the N47 (this is for an E90 but it's the same engine and same problem).
The timing chain tensioner being noisy isn't a problem, the tensioner letting the timing chain get loose enough to skip a tooth or snap is a problem.
People sometimes elect to have them rebuilt with new guides even if they aren't noisy, in order to obviate the problem (or basically so that they think they've done all they can do..)
Personally I'm leaving mine alone on the basis that it's not broke so I'm not fixing it.
I’ve put 70k on my 2015 20d with no issues, that has the 190bhp engine
We also had a 2014 F31 from new with the 20d 184bho engine that we put 130k on until last year .. Again no issues
We replaced the F31 with a Mini Countryman with the 20d engine and again no issues in 46k so far
I think you’ll be fine

Get he oil changed every 9k instead of the recommended 18k!
18K is not "recommended" -- the car does condition based servicing. It depends on the condition of the oil. There's an oil sensor that measures the condition of the oil as well as the oil level.
The oil condition is measured by passing an electric field through it (dielectric permittivity sensor).
Having said that, I have *always* changed the oil ages before it's due, because if I didn't, I'm sure the car would try to run for 22K or something else ridiculous miles between oil changes.

Yep I’m aware of all that.
You may be, but OP or other readers new to these cars might not. I rather think learning from owners experience is why the topic exists. As an aside, I hope calling me a pedant for explaining how the car works makes you feel better about whatever it is that you're annoyed at.
