Carburator Specialist near West London E21
Discussion
Hi All, recently I bought an E21, I would say its quite nice but has some issues that I would rectify
Its running quite rich. Apparently the Solex carb that comes with E21 M10 Engines is quite a pain to tune. Do you know a carburator / bmw classic specialist around west london that I can take it for him to have a look?
Here are some pictures of the car:

That looks lovely.
Can you run carbs in the ULEZ?
I would try posting in the classics sub-forum rather than here. Solex carbs are fairly generic, so most classic specialists should be able to help.
I took my original twin Solex carbs off my VW and replaced with new Weber's a few years ago.

Thanks Mike, yes you can if the car is older than 40 years old and it has a historic tax class. Yes I heard weber is a popular conversion for this car also. I will try and post on the classic sub section, hopefully I can get a recommendation of a shop nearby. Many thanks Can you run carbs in the ULEZ?
