F11 comfort access woes

Drivers door opens but only on the second pull (the "touch" part doesn't work), NSR has totally gone.

Has anyone attempted to replace with a complete handle from a breakers or the antenna only method i've seen on youtube ?

Otherwise how much do you think i'm looking at for a replacement fitted, presumably it needs to be colour coded and mine have lights in the handles which i guess makes it more expensive ?

I find mine to be very sensitive to the proximity/position of the key and sometimes it requires a couple of pulls, occasionally I confuse it with by also touching the ridges on the handle (used to lock the door rather than open as I understand it) If I recall correctly there is a setting in the idrve regarding opening as you approach or locking as you walk away (might have that bit wrong) This is on a new G11.

Have you popped a new battery in the key to check it's not that?

Yeah, its definitely not a key thing, tried all that.

Its an F11 so only works on touch as opposed to the new gen which unlocks when you walk up

i'll book it in at my local specialist, guess it won't be a merry xmas for me !
