F series coding question

Hi all

I recently got a M140i and had carplay activated remotely using feature installer.

I now want to use bimmercode with the MHD (black) OBD2 adapter.

I was told I need to remove carplay using feature installed before using bimmercode and then re-add carplay via feature installer again.

Does anyone have experience of this as I have 2 questions?

1. I cannot find any steps to remove carplay other than being advised to run feature installer again. Is that it?

2. Do I need to remove carplay for all coding or only for the HU module?

As far as I understand it, you can just run feature installer again and it will reverse the previous upgrade.

Probably best to do this rather than risk bricking anything with conflicts.

Thanks, that what I was thinking.

I initially left it on when the car went into BMW and came back without carplay or nav, I ran again and it came back so I assume it just reads the state each time and then either adds it again or remove it.
