Car windows

Hi all im new here just need advice,

My friend has a BMW 1 series and today she came to mine and after a while noticed her car windows all four were down well open at different levels, I've googled it and all I can find is apparent problems with the fob, is this correct or could it be somthing else

I think if you hold the unlock button down on the fob for a few seconds all the windows will drop.

would expect them to be at the same levels of open though. Been there, done that, sustained pressure on the wrong button when the key is in your pocket can do it.

The fronts will be a different level to the rears, as they start to drop a couple of seconds later

Has your friend read the handbook? That is the usual answer to these issues.
