F10 Headlamp TMS nightmare

Hi,
Had a passenger side side light failure (the angel eyes). No other faults.
Unable to get the same part no for the TMS, but assured that the one recommended on realoem is correct for my car.
It has Adaptive Xenons.
So I ordered that part no, plugged it in and then got errors for virtually everything, not just side lights, but adaptive headlamps, vertical aim, left indicator, right indicator.....
Assumed the new part was the problem, so returned and ordered another of the same part no.
Exactly the same occurred. So maybe it just needs coding I thought.
Specialist plugged in the thing, but it came up with multiple communication errors and was unable to clear the fault codes.
If I plug in the original TMS again I get everything working other than the passenger angel eyes again. Adaptive and vertical aim and indicators are all fine.
Any ideas? Sounds like the wrong module to me, but I am assured it is correct.
