2011 F01 730D diff oil
Discussion
I've popped this on the 5 forums too in the F10/11 section to see what replies come that way; but wanted to ask on here also:
Starting to gather parts for the next lot of work I want to do to the 7'er, which includes the diff oil & plugs change etc
I've come across this thread: https://forum.bmw5.co.uk/topic/145665-f11-diff-oil...
Mentions the 'Hypoid axle G1' fluid: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174188993189?epid=22024... which is also what RealOEM states
But having read through it, it seems that any decent 75W90 fluid will do the job; is this still the case (I know that post is not even 12 months old yet)?
So didn't know whether to go with Liqui Moly or Castrol:
LM:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223471595448?epid=65018...
Castrol:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161133094599?epid=13043...
Cheers

I'll probably stick to Castrol or Liqui Moli
