Did the M140i ever come with adaptive cruise control?

My wife’s 2015 VW Polo came with ACC ….it is a joke that BMW don’t even spec if as an option for a car like the M140i …
I have a loaded Mk7.5 GTI right now, had it for four years, and I'm a bit tempted to try something new. Trouble is, my car has the leather interior, adaptive cruise, sunroof, uprated sound package, dynamic chassis control, rear view camera, 19s.... finding another car that doesn't feel like a compromise in some way is proving difficult, and I wouldn't want to regret my choice. The M240i and the M140i were contenders, and I think I'd have to go for the M240i in the absence of ACC on the M140i. However, there is only one on the market that has ACC, sunroof (not strictly necessary) and the adaptive M suspension. I'm on a PCP deal currently with the balloon coming up and I am torn on what to do.

The 19’s on the 1/240i’s are rare as rocking horse poo. The 18’s (two choices) were standard unless you raised the M Performance catalogue and let BMW relieve you of a lot of money for some wheels that were actually not that nice. The M240i and the M140i were contenders, and I think I'd have to go for the M240i in the absence of ACC on the M140i. Leather was standard, although not nicest feeling leather it is durable and wears well in my experience.
The adaptive suspension is a rare option but it’s not actually that great. Of the few that did spec it on BabyBMW, a fair few have removed it for a good passive set up (B12 kit or Birds). Reviews often cited it as a must have but not many ticked it. When I was looking at used cars, I never came across one with it.
The HK stereo is quite popular though and was standard on shadow edition cars along with cruise, sun protection glass and some cosmetic bits.
Things like CarPlay and reversing cameras are an easy and cost effective retrofit.
I'm not settled on the compact BMW route, but this is the main one I was looking at: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202111059...
Not too bothered about the 19s. The main things I like about my current car that I feel like I would be sacrificing are the DCC, ACC and the sunroof. Adaptive cruise is the main one, I think. Chassis control (or adaptive suspension) is nice, but if it's a well-sorted car handling-wise anyway they obviously aren't necessary.
EDIT: Unfortunately it doesn't look in the BEST condition, particularly the seats

I don’t think you’ll find a car with the right spec if I’m honest.
They tend to be relatively lightly spec’d because people were trying to keep costs under the £40k threshold for the luxury tax.
ACC, whilst available is a pretty rare option as far as I know as is a sunroof especially with the latter being quite expensive.
The 2 series seems to have a slightly more resolved ride than the 1 series, which from my own experience can be a bit bouncy especially as the speeds pick up. You’re likely to find them less well spec’d than the equivalent Golf. The engine s bloody good though, far more interesting than VE8s EA888.

But as you’ve said, it’s the only one you found.I’m going by what I saw when I looked at loads of second hand ones plus the time I’ve spent (wasted?) on BabyBMW and seeing the cars that people ordered.

I have just added Apple Carplay, speed limit display and ACC to my X3 M40i ... they can be spec'd with ACC as standard but when I bought it I couldn't find one ... really annoying with Mrs TPO laughing at me !! Now I have it I am all smug, albeit the guy who fitted it spent all day from 7.30am Sunday fitting it ! Taking front bumper off, wheel arches, loads of trim ... nightmare but excellent job and very hard work as he didn't stop for a break in 7 hours ! Bavarian Coding in Southampton ... top job ! I traded my MK7 Golf GTi Clubsport for an M140i Shadow edition back in June last year. The two main things that I miss from the Golf are the ACC and automatic handbrake. But the 3.0 straight six more than makes up for it, what a superb engine.
That was one of the key things that swayed be when I was looking at the Golf R / GTI TCR and the 140i. The engine was a major draw plus I felt like I sat lower in the car (but I’ve always felt at home with BMW ergonomics).sxmwht said:

Unfortunately the leather on these seats, although hardwearing, does seem to sag. My F31 330 did exactly the same on the drivers seat over 70k miles. The rear seat has had a child seat in for some time to by the look of it.
What hasn't been mentioned is the MPPSK fitted. That is anything from £1200 - £1700 and does give some rear performance gains.
