Just a heads up for anyone considering a winter wheel set, BMW have 39% off their 16" steel winter wheel and ebay have an extra 15% off, so you can get a full set of:

- Goodyear, UltraGrip Perfomance G1 ROF M+S, 205/60 R16 96H, with Runflat.
- Steel wheel, Black, 7Jx16, OS:31, with RDCi.

for £404 delivered direct from BMW.

Just search the part no. 36112464244 on ebay.

If this isn't allowed feel free to delete it!

Have been looking for a cheap set of winters, so do you think they will fit over my 340mm M-Sport brakes wink

The tyres alone must be worth £300.

No they won’t. I used to have a 320d and my 16 inch steels only would fit because I didn’t have the blue M sport brakes.

If your car has M sport brakes I think you have to use 18inch wheels

Bugger, looks like I need to keep checking ebay for something like 400Ms (without tyres, as I want to fit all-seasons)!

18" minimum for the blue brakes unfortunately...

Yeah all good points - definitely for smaller braked cars, the ebay compatibility thing seems to focus on 316d/318d/320d models!!

On Oponeo the tyres are £120 each! (admittedly 92H rather than 96H but still)

You can fit 17" steelies over the 340mm Msport brakes on an M140i so I suspect if you can find the right wheels you can do similar with an F31 car. For an M140i I am using BMW X1 17" steel wheels with no spacers and they just about clear the brakes;

Looks like the rears stick out a lot though...and mine are already quite close to the arches.

Mine current OE wheels are 8Jx19 ET36 (225/40r19) front, and 8.5Jx19 ET47 (255/35r19) ear.
