E91 Wandering / Tramlining / Loose Feeling Steering
Discussion
Hey everyone,
Just looking for some advice for my E91.
I purchased it about 12 months ago and I love it. However I've been chasing down a slight loose steering feel.
What I've done in the past few months is replace all the (very old) RFT Bridgestones, replacing them with GY Eagle F1's. Checked the torque on the steering coupler bolts (made a huge difference), and had a hunter alignment done.
However I'm still left with a slight feeling through the steering wheel that the front wheels feel a bit loose/independent and tramlining. From experience would it be the tie-rod assemblies or control arms that are the likely culprit?
I'd much rather only replace 1 of the above at this point in time.
