Recommended BMW servicing, Kent area

Hi,

My Son is looking for any personal recommendations for his M140i, around the Ashford, Kent area. He was going to go to a Main Dealer, but the reviews are mixed, to say the least!

I found H&C Maidstone and further away, ETA Motorsport in West Kingsdown. Does anyone have any direct experience of either place? Thanks for any replies!

I’ve never used ETA, but they have a very good reputation on an M3 forum I frequent. I’ve used Biddenden Motor Works (Scott’s Performance) in Dartford and they are also good.

Hi Reggie, thanks for the info, I'll pass it on.

I can recommend ETA. among other things, they have done the rod bearings, boot floor strengthening, valve clearances, diff mounts on my E46 m3 and I've been very impressed.

I gather on newer models they will use genuine parts and update the BMW portal with the service history

My mate lives just outside Maidstone, I sent him to H&C - I knew of them when I used to live in Kent. His garage couldn't get the car out of limp mode.

He's been a customer for about 4 years now, fixed loads of issues created by his previous garage. Now runs as a BMW should.
