Anyone know how to source injectors?!
Discussion
Hi all
New joiner, I have an LCI 630i coupe, went in with my eyes open knowing the text book faults
Just done the oil filter housing gasket, leaking bad. Replaced the oil filler cap as that was leaking aswell. AC condensor was shot and now that's done and working
Final bit of the puzzle, injector replacements. No engine lights yet, but it's a pig for short time when cold.
Asking around apparently there are none in the country and the back order is huge. Can anyone help with sourcing them?
Other than that it's a car I always wanted, has full service history and I have the will to get it sorted! (Hpfp was done on a recall back in 2009)
Thanks all

I’ve just been through this with my N54, the cheapest place I could find with stock in the UK was ML Performance, this was for genuine BMW injectors. I think they also stock N53 injectors. In the end the specialist who fitted and coded them also supplied them, they were able to price match ML.
I have never purchased through ML, but I know others have without any issues.
Cheers.

If you have the part no, you could try LLLParts.
They check multiple suppliers throughout Europe, I've found them quite good on price wise as well:

I've got three or four Index 11 N43/N53 injectors somewhere.
Hi Touring 442, well I will happily buy them off you! Could you dig them out and let me know. I can probably just do a bank of three for the time being and keep on the hunt for two more (if you have 4)Do they have caps on them, I assume used?
I wonder If anyone has just left the fault and how long it was before things got serious. I've almost got used to the routine of pulling away straight after starting the engine. If I need to idle, I just lightly hold the revs to 900 RPM to stop it hunting
Would be interesting to know how long people have left it!

I believe JakeT on here had a friend with one of these with leaking injectors. The unburnt fuel meant the cats had to be replaced. No idea how long tgat would take.
Makes sense long term, excuse to get a sports cat in. If you find out anymore would be great to know as this might not be out of choice, just a reflection on howling it will take to get hold of new ones. Would be good to hear Gassing Station | BMW General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
