I have had Paul at Expert Tuning in Chaldon do two re-maps on cars I've owned. He actually applies maps from Quantum although they modify the original map rather than just load something generic.

Did 30k in my E320 diesel on one map and my S320 diesel is still going strong. Might be worth a look.

Simon from Emaps comes to you and recently did my 335d in London. Nice guy, excellent, known product and very good value.

I have heard nothing but positive things about simon.
I had remapping done at bwchiptune and whilst the map itself seems pretty spot on & the guys are very friendly; the way there setup is arranged leaves a bit to be desired.
In future I would more than likely go with emaps. HTH.
What I liked about BW was the rolling road & their insistence on leaving the dpf, cat etc in place, car does not kick out any soot under load and looks to be a 'clean' map.

What didn’t you think was great with BW? I only ask because I’ve only heard of good things.

I must re-iterate that the mapping itself is spot on, did an excellent job with it & the sons are very friendly.
The workshop is very messy, I felt that the communication with the remote tuning was a bit spotty; ask one of the lads on site for A and the remote map that you'd get uploaded was more akin to B, it being not quite what you'd asked for.
OFC they were quite happy to go back and change it but it'd be nice not to have to do that.

On my way home the low oil light flashed up. It was very low on the dipstick & topped it up when I got home, yes I should have checked before I left, I didn't & really should have but you'd also hope that it is something they'd also check just as a preliminary before doing power runs on the dyno.
That ones on me, live & learn, no damage done so thumbup

Fair enough….I was just being nosy really. They’re always recommended on BabyBMW although I went with P Torque because they were closer and a friend used them with good results.

Be careful if it's an F30 320i - they really don't like being given extra boost.

BM3, MG Flasher and MHD may be options depending on your car ? Easy *so long as you read the instructions and follow them to the letter ! I am useless with this stuff but did MG Flasher on my B58 engine and it was great.

JF Automotive in Maidstone have agents that can sort your car ... or you can visit. I am in Surrey and I looked at them but after my MG Flasher experiments went to DMS in Southampton ... or rather they came to me + I visited them for their Dyno (not too inflated despite peoples claims as I had ti checked elsewhere).

Superchips will come to you too .. though they are not the same people who they were pre covid as bought out ... not really heard negative re them though. Personally I had good, great and cr*p exoperiences of Superchips over many years.

Celtic Tuning also have a dealer not too far from Boxhill. Not used them. but they are well established and generally the internet seems to be ok with their maps .... but also says their claims are perhaps a bit high ....
