Hi all,

Wondering if anyone could help and shed some light an a issue that has cropped up on my F31 330d xdrive.

I can distinctly hear a metallic clicking sound coming from the engine area when I increase the RPMs. It starts at around 2000 rpms and stays there.
This only happens when accelerating. There is no sound when I let off the pedal.
The car drives as it should, no smoke, no power loss etc.

What could this possibly be linked to.

Thank you

There’s no sound when starting from cold. It starts and sounds exactly like my previous 330d.
Rattle is their when I rev the car or drive.
It does get quieter when it is warm, but still there.

Anyways, anyone got a recommendation for someplace that can do warrantied repair in the north west Manchester area?
Might as well get ahead and get it done to prevent a blown engine.

Thank you
