Dealer replaced starter motor on my f80 but still no luck

Hi all, I posted a couple weeks back regarding the starter motor that needed replacing on my f80 m3. BMW have fitted a new starter but they have said it has failed to start again, upon further investigation they have found that the FEM needs to be replaced so they are doing that under warranty. Just wondering has anyone else experienced a similar fault?

Initially the car was throwing up a starter/ignition error which turned into an 'Engine cannot be started' error.
