Service reset

I have a 2016 120i that I chose to service myself this time around, plugs, filters, oil etc. back in November last year. In December, the major service reminder popped up and I can't seem to cancel it down - I've followed various videos on YT which work for a minor service but not major - can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong please?

2016 most likely has the services on the idrive? if so most likely you need a software to reset the sevirce interval. i use Delphi, but ive heard app like torque and carly can do the same job.

I did buy something a few years back that plugs in, I'll dig it out and see if that helps.
