BMW Coding - CarPlay

[bobthemonkey]

Looking for a recommendation in the Thames Valley (ish) area to code in CarPlay and fit the associated Wi-Fi antenna. Have seen various offering via Facebook etc but looking for some personal recommendations.

I got mine done remotely from a guy on eBay for £30.

WiFi antenna £8 from Amazon and fitted myself in 5 minutes. You don't technically need the antenna, but it does give better connection.

This 100% ^^^^^^, fitted the antenna in 20mins, enabled CarPlay with Feature installer on a laptop. Cost about £60 and included latest SatNav maps.

I would be interested in any links you have for the antenna and also the Ebay people.

My wife has just had a 2018 X3 M40d with pretty much most options apart from the above.

On the back of this discussion, I've just coded in CarPlay using KnownSellers from eBay. Sent on email then saved to a USB stick and uploaded to the car. Instructions provided. Forget your mobile then reconnect with CarPlay enabled, took under 15 minutes.
