Can anybody tell me why some text in the service history is in orange? Is there any meaning behind this? Is it because it has been done late?

Basically yes, its either been done over time or mileage.

Ok, thanks. I suppose around that period Covid lockdowns prevented some services being done.

Question: do you mean
a) the section that is high lit?, or
b) the service with the ‘OK’ in orange, rather than ‘OK’ in green?

This; it was done a bit late. If it was really late it would be shown in red.

I wouldn't have been happy with that.

A BMW main dealer told me that the service light would only be marked orange if you had done 1000 miles more than scheduled.

During Covid BMW issued a notice saying service could be upto3 months late. s if within timescale (and mileage) should not be a problem

I have recently re-booked my service, twice. First time when the heat wave was on, I didn’t think it was worth the risk of them cancelling at the last minute, and I didn’t want to venture out. The second time was after I had a positive CoVID test on Saturday. I feel quite fine, really, but my wife is pretty tired out from it. It is due in August, so I should be OK, within mileage and time, anyway
