15x 2020 420i’s loaded onto BMW Used Approved

Hi all,

There have been 15x 2020 420i’s loaded onto the BMW Used Approved site. All white with under 20k miles on them. They are all pretty much identical spec except for some interior trim differences.

Does anyone know where these might have come from or the background of these cars?

Good spot. I'm curious too especially with the unusual white colour. Could be a bit rentaly ... but would those go back to BMW as approved used?? Maybe I guess.

I’ve seen bmw dealers (ones that rhyme with batstone) advertising cars on autotrader still with the thrifty stickers on.

They could be rentals, there were a batch of ex enterprise 320d tourings with quite a high spec a few years ago. I bought one!

However the low mileage suggests they might not be. With car shortages hire companies have been holding on to cars longer than normal, so would expect the mileages to be higher and more varied depending who they were used by.

Anything to do with the delayed Euro 2020 football event, which happened in 21. Perhaps they were ordered for that?

Or perhaps the BMW 2020 PGA Golf which was at Wentworth?

I found the answer to this.

There was a super cheap lease deal on them via BMW direct.

£1000 down, £199 a month. 24 month term.

The leases are all up now and they are returned to BMW. There was no option to buy.

These a well priced cars, but quite dated interiors now and none of them have any toys!

What toys are missing you would want?

I only looked at two of them which are at my local dealer but both looked fairly well specced, one is auto and one manual

Car play, folding mirrors, rear camera, digital cockpit, etc etc etc.

These cars are all the base model.

Great value though for what are lightly used cars.
