X3 tyre wear

I noticed my wife's X3 has worn the outside edge of the NSF tyre.

Would this be an MOT fail? Do I need to get the alignment looked at?

Pretty obvious really, the answer is yes and yes.

Without measuring it precisely it is not possible to say it will fail from that pic, but it is very likely it could fail.

My best guess is you have camber issues on that corner.
