I have had a last minute trip pop up and need to drive to South Germany. I plan to take my 2019 520d but it will mean my service is 500-800 miles overdue. Still within the 24mths since the last service, this will be its second service at around 28k.

Will this still be green in the service history, or will this be orange? I thought 1000+ miles over triggers orange, but wanted to check.

Thanks

Will be orange. The service interval is time or mileage, whatever comes first.

Does it go orange as soon as you get to 0 miles remaining.m? I thought there was some grace

I drive around 25k miles each year and I can have weeks of very few miles and then I do 2k in 2 weeks so getting the services booked in at times to suit me can be a struggle. It's either under or over.

On my last service on the 640d I was around 500 over and it stayed green.

Green. Had mine at 919miles over on CBS and stayed green - this was for a big serivce (where they extort one for even more money)

You could have it done in Germany if you have the time. Might be cheaper too and even while you wait.
