3 Series G20 steering and warranty woes

Dear all,
I wonder if anyone has experienced similar issues to me with their 3 series steering OR with BMW warranty not accepting a claim.
I’m not really sure what’s wrong with the car or how to pursue BMW , so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The car is a 2019 G20 with 12 months of manufactures warranty left on it. It’s developed two issues.
The first is a loud creaking noise when on full lock.

The second is an intermittent knocking sound when the steering passes the straight on point. It can on occasions be louder than in the video. You can feel the knock through the steering too.

Both issues happen when stationary and when driving.
My local BMW dealer says that issue 1 needs new front suspension top mounts but it’s not a warranty claim since it’s a noise only and the part hasn’t totally failed yet.
They deny issue 2 is a problem. “They all do that sir”. I know they don’t - I have a 2020 of the same car and it doesn’t do it.
BMW UK haven’t been helpful and advise they rely on what the dealer says….
What should I do…..have an independent inspection and go back to the local dealer? Or get it repaired and then pursue in small claims?
Who would I pursue, the local dealer or BMW UK?
