BMW M 440d Coupe

I’ve been thinking about buying one of these 2 Door Coupe’s for a while. However with high prices and a lack of availability, I ruled it out.
I’ve just noticed that prices have come down and I’m potentially ready to purchase.
However, I’ve heard that the ride is very firm that somewhat puts me off. Has anyone got much experience of this model and would the ride be much firmer than my current 2019 530d M Sport. Also would it be significantly noisier. These things are important to me as most of my mileage is done on the motorway.
Appreciate the obvious thing is to test drive. However, I’m currently out of the country and even when I get back the nearest dealer with a car that I would interested in is 100 miles plus away. I usually just buy BMW’s online and without a test drive as I always like them. With this one being quite a departure from the type of car (large 4 door saloon) you can see why some advice would be beneficial.
I would therefore appreciate any feedback on the ownership and driving experience.
