I've recently bought a BMW E90 330d in deep green with a tan/caramel colour interior. I've always loved this spec on any car but the similar BMW Oxford Green has always been my favourite.

I can't find any E90/E92's for sale in the same colour which has got me wondering, how rare is it? Does anyone know, or know how to find out?

There doesn't seem to be anywhere I can find out online, only how many 330d E90's are left (a lot!). I've seen it quoted elsewhere that only around 30 Z4's in this colour came to the UK.

I too love the Green with Caramel hide, but never brave enough to do it again after the problems I had selling my TT from 2003 which I specked Goodwood Green with Baseball int.

Sorry I don't know, but I've never seen a Tiefgrun 3 Series.

Someone put together a database for Z4s, but it only covers the 3.0Si models. Based on that it looks like only 27 that colour were registered in the UK.

It actually looks really great, especially with gold wheels!

It's rare. I don't have figures, and technically it's a colour that was on the options list, but one rarely chosen. I expect it will be an SE as I don't think Tiefgrün was available on the M-Sport. In that respect it's not like Monaco Blue, with both having been uncommon colours (and blue likely the more common of the two). Tiefgrün is a great looking colour though, and if it's well kept it really is very striking in photographs. Presumably it looks as good in the real world... although curiously enough I've never actually seen an E90 in it in person.

All of the Z4s I've seen in that colour (not many though) were SE models, but here are two (shame about the rain).

The single reason why I bought this. Epic combo.

Congratulations!

My 330i is also an SE with beige interior and a sunroof, but sadly it's Sparkling Graphite. I'd have loved to find a Tiefgrun one.

This is exactly why I've never understood resale silver.

These colours are sought after, I'm not the only that would pay a reasonable premium for such a colour.
