BC button dead all of a sudden

2020 G31, suddenly BC button stopped working. It doesn't work when indicating as I've seen in some cases, so hopefully a software issue, but restarting iDrive hasn't helped. Before i go pay stealers using insured warranty, anything else I could try?

If your cars under warranty; get them to sort it. Don't try and fix it yourself as it'll give them an excuse to not fix it for you

Yeah it's under insured warranty, so most likely i'll get them to do it. I was just wondering if it's a common occurence or is tehre any other 'soft' way to make it work again.

Not much you can do other than checking with Protool for example if the BDC sees the BC button press at all or not.

With insured warranty, you will still have an excess to pay. The standard is £250, unless altered by the customer.
