AA Parts & Garage (Warranty) vs competitors
Discussion
So I've had AA parts & garage cover which is essentially their warranty for the past 3 or so years on my cars. I currently have a modified 335i which has had a few breakdowns/repairs that they have covered & paid out for. I haven't had any trouble with them really but my renewal has just come through & they have bumped up my price considerably. Have tried the old I'd like to cancel routine & they've only brought it down by a few £ per month.
For those interested, the AA will cover 5 x repairs per year for up to £500 each. Obviously there are limitations so they won't cover things like a DPF for diesels but it's pretty comprehensive.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with competitors such as RAC etc, who it looks as though may be able to offer similar cover for a fair bit less. Also, do the other companies have any objections to modifications? AA don't seem to bat an eyelid which a real bonus.
