F11 headlight module change

Hi all

First time posting on here so please bare with me if I sound daft!

I have a 63 plate 520d f11...had alot of condensation in passenger side headlight and like a divvie i left it as it continued to work, you can see where this it going...

It failed (not all parts) but current faults include side/daytime lights fault and headlight vertical aim control failure

Thought i would have a go at fixing myself and after a few YouTube vids I managed to change the module (alot of water escaped and corrosion on old module)

Unfortunately this has not worked and now even less lights are working, from what I've read i shouldn't have to reprogramme it but I might be wrong?

Any help or input at all would be great and apologies again if I have missed anything out.

Had issues on my 2012 F11. Changed both modules L and R and had no issues. No need to program. If lots of corrosion maybe the connector itself was damaged?
