Hi guys I see some 2018 cars are around 260bhp would a remap make a significant difference? Any one had it done?

An M40d will have 340BHP. I’ve only driven an M40i with the 370, and it was a fast enough car, especially for a tall X3.

Yep. 260hp is what the base single turbo N57 makes, although a 2018 will probably be B57.

As for remapping, as above, I don't see why you would need to with a 40d as they are already close to the limit.

The Bi and tri turbo N57s aren't the most reliable when further stressed with a shoddy aftermarket map.

The facelift G01 40d has 340ps and MHT the pre facelift has 326ps and no MHT, all use the B57, there isn't a 260hp 40d the 40d came in with the G chassis the previous F chassis was the N57 35d with something like 313ps.
