F series X5 drive train error

Hello all

Everyday now when driving the car. Around 5 seconds after driving off I get the bing sound and a drive train error.

I click ok then after another 5 seconds the fault goes. The car also appears to accelerate very slowly even foot to the floor.

This used to happen on a 640d I had aswell but nowhere near as often.

Checking the car oil etc is all ok in the system


Any ideas ?

Presumably you need to chuck it on a code reader and see what fault has been registered to trigger the warning light?
