Hi,

I have a 2025 X1 M Sport (With Technology Pack if that makes any difference to my query) and I had the satellite image maps turned on within Nav as I found them far superior and easier to view than the line drawn maps.

A few days ago I completed a software update on the car as required via the MyBMW app, and now I notice the satellite maps have disappeared, as has the option to choose between line-drawn and satellite.

Am I missing something here, and the option to turn in back on has been moved?

Edited to add: Might this be an optional extra provided by the BMW Digital Premium service? I just read that the Premium service expires after 3 months from new, and I never looked into paying for it as the BMW salesman said it was "crap" and just to let it lapse. But if Sat Maps are part of the package then I may keep paying for it.

I was going to jokingly reply something about the monthlies, but it is actually about the monthlies, maybe!

Yep, turns out that it is indeed, believe it or not, an optional £9.95 a month hehe

I'm going to subscribe though as the additional map features are really good, plus my son really likes to play the console games on the in-car screens while we wait for the Mrs to exit whatever shop she has just popped into...
