BMW Drive recorder vs BMW Advanced Eye

Ok, so I have had the advanced eye on my last G42 M240i the current 545e has Drive Recorder
I have decided to go back to another M240i and am deciding between the Drive recorder or the Advanced eye system for it.
I am not going aftermarket as don t want any issues with BMW.
I think the Drive recorder is maybe £200 to activate after purchase via the BMW connected app as I have spec d 360 cameras. It wasn t possible to add it to the order.
The Advanced Eye is 600 or 700 fitted by the dealer for front and rear.
I had Blackview cams front and rear on my X3 and a front cam only on the last M240i. Not had to rely on them or the Drive recorder but tempted to go with that as less £££ and no pulling out of trim by the dealer on a new car,
Any views ?
