G31 530d parking sensors not working

The parking sensors on my 2021 530d Touring have stopped working. When pulling up at a wall, I get a message suggesting my sensors may be dirty. Similarly, when I select reverse, the reversing camera comes on, then is quickly replaced by the message suggesting dirty sensors.
I have checked that all sensors appear to be in good order.
Is there any way I can identify which if any of the sensors is faulty or if there is another reason for them not working. Would a fault code reader identify a failed sensor?
I have read that the RAM unit could be an issue, sounds expensive, does anyone have any experience of that?

Thanks, I don’t have a code reader but it’s booked in tomorrow with a local independent BMW specialist who reckons he will be able to identify where the fault lies.
I’ll feedback any findings that maybe helpful to others.

Listen to each of the sensors, they tick when they are working.

Having exactly the same issue.

Don't fancy paying £250 for diagnostic at BMW, independent says they'll charge £150.

Tried all the listening and touch tests but no joy in identifyng which sensor is faulty.

Considering OBDLINK CX and Bimmerlink, but that's gonna cost me about £100 so I don't want to waste it if the read will only tell me the same "sensors dirty" rather than "Fault returned from a specific, named sensor".

How did you get on with yours?
