Greetings from a greasy spoon cafe in Enfield.
So I was driving my 2 year old 440 Grand Coupe on the M25 when I got a tyre pressure warning. Then it became obvious that the tyre had no pressure at all. There’s no hard shoulder on that section so I had to drive onto one of the emergency stopping areas. The tyre wouldn’t re inflate, must be badly damaged on the inside.
I was about to look for the BMW recovery number when they called me!!! They knew I had a damaged tyre and arranged recovery. They also phoned around to find a tyre centre with a replacement. So about an hour later I’ve been recovered and sat in a cafe while my tyre’s replaced.
Impressive.

Wow that is amazing.
I've got the BMW after market warranty with Euro recovery on my X5 and wonder if they constantly monitor the 'vitals'.
I don’t know but seriously impressed. All in all I was delayed about 3 hours including the recovery and tyre fitting time. The tyre cost £275 so not too bad.I've got the BMW after market warranty with Euro recovery on my X5 and wonder if they constantly monitor the 'vitals'.
I found them to be superb the 2(3) times I had to use them for the F31 - one call out turned into 2, so that they could get the touring in for investigation under warranty, but circumnavigate the airbag recall as there was a backlog, which meant if they took the car in, they'd have to keep hold of it...
That was less than ideal as I'd just come out of hospital
But BMW Assist sorted it with zero issues
I'd highly recommend BMWs fully comp warranty and Assist if you can get it for your car

Yep, it’s great. First time I knew about it was when I was having some tyres changed. Got a call from a lovely guy asking if everything was alright as they had seen a rapid deflation in a tyre. I explained all was fine and don’t call me in 10 minutes when the other tyre is changed.
What’s worrying is that when I had some more tyres about 10 months later I didn’t get a call.
