B58 OPF delete and tune

My 2021 Z4 M40i has come to the end of its warranty and have no plans to sell it.

I’ve been reading a lot about OPF filter delete and a tune to help the engine breathe more easily, give a little more power and a little more sound.

I know the ECU has to be sent of to be unlocked but my worry is when it does come time to sell or trade - particularly to a BMW dealer, even if I put the OPF filter back and flash the ECU back to factory, will the resale value of the car be hurt or will a BMW dealer even be interested in the car ??

How would they know?

I think the BMW software will tell them it has been tampered with if they check, that's what I read anyway.
