BMW 520d SE Auto MHT 2021

Hi,I have recently gone from the older F10 520d SE auto to the later Mild Hybrid version,not impressed!...Out of the 3 driving modes the default Comfort mode to me is the only driveable mode,in Sport it manically over revs!...But even in Comfort mode the around town/in traffic mode is very lumpy.Aside from the dreaded stop/start(Sorry I'm not technical,but I understand this could be coded out) the auto gearchange is not smooth and braking is erratic and snatchy compared to the old F10.This MHT system in the 520 generally is regarded as amongst the best there is,just wondering if anyone has had a similar
experience,is it worth getting it checked out for Firmware/Software updates or are they just like that??
