1 key on a new X5

Just got a new X5 this month and was surprised it came with just one key. Apparently the digital key is the recommended one to use. Two weeks in it’s a complete pain, and after not being able to get in yesterday 40 miles from home, I’m going back to the old ways.

My dealer assures me new X5s should only come with one key. Is this true? I read somewhere X5s should still come with two until the new model launches. Can anyone confirm?
