I have just bought a 2002 5 series tourer with leather and too my horror it has not come with heated seats (which i am very used to)

Is there anyway you can retro fit them

Any help gratefully received

Feck they do on arf get cold in the mornings at the mo, surprised it isn;t standard.

This is my third and first two came with it, twas a shock.

There must be a solution......

But in my experience ignore the bit about the hogrings. They're bad enough to remove let alone redo! In the end when replacing the heating element on an E36 leather seat I ended up just using tie-pulls. Made the job much easier and apparently that's what many professional re-trimmers use now anyway. The hogrings were driving me nuts!

I have to say though...it's not a job I would relish doing again! In my opinion if the heated seats aren't there already it's certainly not worth the effort in this country doing it.
