The rear screen on my BMW E36 convertible has just split. Does anyone know if you can replace just the screen on it's own and if so how much I would be looking at ?

Also, is this something I could do myself or should I leave it the professionals ?

All advice would be much appreciated !

Cheers

You can indeed just change the rear screen. I believe it unzips and a new one can be zipped in. I had an Audi Cabriolet previously which needed one, but it had to be cut out and a new one stiched in. Yours should cost in the region of £150 (I think that is how much I was quoted on a BMW) for a new one. If you look on the internet there are plenty of places that can do it, I used someone in South London.
