E60 M5 what a sound!!!

Just thought I'd share this mornings commuting experience.
Found myself behind new M5 (exhausts look good)decided to dawdle along behind for a while. Leaving a set of lights he decided to give it a bit of a squirt, what a wonderful sound, I want one!!
To put this in perspective I commute on Aprilia Tuono with full race exhaust, so any extraneous sound has a lot to get through.
Makes my 535d M Sport sound a little agricultural, colour was the same though.

It does sound wonderful. I was worried that it wouldn't sound as good as the CSL. There's more sound-deadening, so it's not as loud (but that's why we have opening windows on our cars 
). I needn't have worried, it has a fabulous sound all of its own. The black plastic bits on top of the engine that some have derided as an engine cover are in fact the airboxes. It's a pity they are not CF, but the induction roar is great.
