E46 318 saloon - folding rear seats or not ?

My father is looking to buy a 3 year old 318 saloon. I have a horrible feeling that folding seats are not a standard option on the saloon and is one of BMW's famous hidden extras (he will want them). Does anyone know ?

Yes, you want a car that has the 'through load' option as far as I know
