535d oil consumption

My car has used a litre of oil in the first 2000 miles since new.
Is that normal?
I didn't think the latest cars used much oil if any?

Mine has used barely a drop in 13,000 miles. Certainly not had to top up at all.

Mine has been a real sipper, but have not checked since return from Le Mans, will do so tonight just in case.

Same here at 14000 , and thats 6000 miles after being DMS'd

First top up the other week at 15,000 took 1L.

Perhaps it was slightly down to start with?
Admittedly, i have topped up to the very top of the marker and also have a small amount left in the bottle.
I have just checked after a 500 mile run and it hasn't used anymore, so all seems well.

I know it is hardly the same thing, but my 320d drank oil for the first 25,000 or so miles, the last 8,000 it has hardly used a drop.
