My dealer (new sales guy had no idea of time) has just called to say my car is on the boat from USA does anyone know how long it takes for the car get to the dealer in the UK ?

Just out of interest... (and this might be a dumb question, but...) why does it take so long to get from boat to dealer? I've been told my 3.0si coupe will be built in mid/late August and delivered the second week of October - I'm intrigued to know what happens to it in the meantime!

I believe the boat goes too germany first then goes too doncaster to drop off the cars! Thats where mine is now
