Quick Wheel Question...
Discussion
Mustard,
Definitely a straight bolt-on job with no issues at all! You don't even need spigot rings. My wife's E34 Touring runs on E38 wheels with exactly those tyre sizes (and has done for 4 years!). Initially, I thought I needed spigot rings but I was wrong.
To reiterate...straight bolt-on.
Hope that helps.

Thought you'd know the answer! 8J's are fine though? Guys described them on ebay as 15" from a 750i which based on info from http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/ they cant be, anyway, he'll take 40 notes for them (they failed to sell)
Cheers

If he's got the wheel size wrong just make sure he hasn't put the wrong tyre size!
These E38 wheels on Ebay say 225/60/16:

Anyway, I've doubled checked...my wife's are most definitely 225/55/16
