Hi,

I need a new head gasket (or perferably top end set) for an E30 320, anyone know where I could get one mail ordered?

Chris.

Stick a 325 engine in it, go on, you know you want to yes

And I know just the donor vehicle

Well, it was bought as a banger rally car for Czech Wrecks (largely on the grounds of being the cheapest thing we could find with RWD) and it got as far as the M25

I have mate who's really into BMW's who was trying to persuade me to get an E30 325 sport or an E36 328 coupe as my main car! He's gonna come and help me get it running again, then I think it'll be going into autotrader.

Would be tempted by a good one though. Was surprised how exploitable it was - I thought (from what people have said about E30's) it'd put me through a hedge, instead it had just enough grunt to get a few degrees of drift going and did so quite easily.

Hedge ears Like I said, mine's an engine donor these days

Although I suppose I could buy another E30 with a duff engine scratchchin

I think I'll put it on autotrader let somebody else put mine in the hedge. Like I said, may consider something a little more focused than a 320 saloon in the future though.

Just got a gasket set from GSF. They were extremely helpful and seemed to be reasonable prices too.
