Z1 was was recognised at the time to be under engined for the chassis.

Yes, it's a very nice engine and makes a fantastic noise (or it does if you give it four exhaust pipes to exhale noisily through!) but I wouldn't describe it as storming.

It got plenty of urge in the right gear to be getting on with, but 0-60 in mine feels to be about 7 secs to me, which isn't that much by today's standards. My Alfa eats it in a straight line.

I only asked because my ex lives in Queen's Club Gardens and so my Z1 used to parked around there frequently.
